It's Christmas time ALREADY!!!

The Christmas tree is in the playroom.......how crazy are we!?!? That's really the only place to put it but believe it or not Nash has not bothered it that much:) Kris tied it off to the drape hangers just to make sure it wouldn't fall over...ha! ha! Please excuse the skirtless tree, I refused to get in the attic to get the rest of the decorations b/c I'm still TRAUMATIZED from my "snake encounter"........thankfully Kris is not afraid of them so everything is decorated now :)

Halloween Fun

Fin had parents night at her dance class again! They got to dress in their Halloween costumes :) Here she's TRYING to be shy!!!

We went to the beach house for Halloween! Here is Nash's black eye that he got when he slipped in the tub and hit the edge of the drain :( Poor baby! He didn't cry but a minute and the cut wasn't as deep as it looked, so no ER trip! He does have a shiner though!!

We went trick-or-treating in Baytowne! It was a lot of fun but really cold! After we went around to all the shops there was a magic show and fireworks! Fin loved it.....she's still asking us "how that man got that money out of that boy's ear?".......oh, to be a kid again :)

He didn't last long after his 7:30 bedtime :)

While at the beach I promised Kris I would give fishing one more try! I swore I would never go again after being sea sick the last time! I wore a patch behind my ear this time and it worked like a charm! We went out and and guess what!?! I caught an 18lb King Mackerel......I don't know who was more excited me or Kris :) It really was a lot of fun....I fought him for about 15 minutes and then got him in the boat :) I would have done anything to have a video camera of how excited my husband was :)

The Pumpkin Patch

After a lot of indecisiveness we decided to go to the pumpkin patch on Friday! The forecast said it was 90% chance of rain all day so we thought it was just going to be a lazy day at home, but when we got up the rain had stopped and it was almost 80 degrees!! So much for the cute matching outfits that I bought the kids to wear to the pumpkin patch! They were long sleeve turtle necks! Anyway after giving up and just letting her wear what she wanted to wear this is where we ended up :) I know, I know, it doesn't matter :)
These pictures are out of order, but we had a great time! It was not crowded at all because of the unpredictable forecast :)

She was a little nervous at first but then she didn't want to stop!

No.......your eyes aren't playing tricks on you....... Kris took him down the slide!!! I almost had a heart attack but he really loved it!!!!

Where does the time go???

Nash will be 10 months on the 30th of this month.....time flies!! I feel like I was just pregnant! He is starting to stand up and walk with his lion so I'm sure it won't be long til he's walking everywhere! He is SUCH a good baby! He goes to sleep at 7 and sometimes we have to wake him up at 9 am! That's 14 hours!! He also takes 2 naps during the day that are anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half! Talk about TOTALLY opposite babies!! Finlee hardly ever took long naps and NEVER slept past 7! Honestly the only time he ever cries is when he's hungry and your not shoveling his food in fast enough :)

She loved making different funny faces......much cleaner than carving although I know we'll do that too!!

She is definitely Miss Attitude :)

They LOVE playing on the bed with daddy!

We went to the beach this past weekend with some friends who have "Coleson" who is 2 weeks younger than Nash. We were at the pool and they were staring at 3 young girls playing.....it was hilarious! They were really checking them out!!!

They had parents night at Fin's dance class so we got to go see what she has learned! There's a video at the end of her tapping! They do ballet and tap. It brought back a lot of memories of when I was her age and we learned "shuf-fle step"!

This is probably the only time she sat still!
